Admission to Tonbridge Grammar School is selective and depends on achieving the required standard in the Kent Test (11 Plus). When more pupils qualify than there are places available, the school applies oversubscription criteria to decide offers.
Priority is given in this order:
-
Looked After and previously Looked After Children
-
Children eligible for Pupil Premium (with a set number of reserved places)
-
Applicants living within the designated priority area covering Tonbridge and nearby postcodes
-
Siblings of current students
-
Applicants ranked by distance from the school
